Winsor & Newton Professional Watercolor Paper Block, 12" x 16", Hot Pressed

Gummed blocks are a collection of pre-stretched water colour sheets. All four sides are gummed in place, removing the need to wet and tape sheets down when painting outdoors. Each sheet can be removed carefully using a palette knife. Blocks tend to have a heavy board backing, enabling the pad to be used as a drawing board.

• Exceptionally resilient and durable, our watercolor paper will not warp or cockle even when saturated with large volumes of water
• Made on a traditional cylinder mold. This ensures the fibers are interwoven, which gives the paper far greater strength and dimensional stability
• Internally and externally sized for optimal water absorbency, pigment dispersion and lasting colour adherence
• Hot pressed paper has a very smooth surface. It has almost no tooth, making it ideal for portraits and smooth washes. Allows for finer detail
• Our professional paper is constructed with 100 Percent cotton with pure spring water. 20 sheets per block
